I think Grand Slam are out of business now and not sure how many of these were made so I guess they are quite rare now:

Yeah they are nice looking but feel weird, like a glassy feel to them.

Nope, they are definitely my darts, I swapped some copper tungstens to Jeroen for them, so there

I bid on a set of Barneys on eBay a while ago but it was only a punt and I wasn't prepared to get into a bidding war! They went for £34 in the end though.
With regards to the whole Grand Slam thing though, Red Dragon use the name and logo on one of their ranges now so they may have bought them out?

After a bit of sleuthing, I found a Dutch outfit that seems to have bought up a bunch of Grand Slam's old stock.
At www.dasroggel.nl on the left of the home page click on "PROMOTIE ITEMS" and you'll see "Ceramic Darts." They have a few different types and weights. Not all that pricy, either. About $59. USD for the "normal" ones and $72. for the "titanium." I've emailed asking exactly what "titanium" means (titanium on top of the ceramic which is on top of the NiW?) No answer yet.
Also, they're asking $38. shipping to California, which is crazy.
But they're gettable!
26's so far this year: I've already lost count. :-)

Good find, although I saw a few sites that still sell them but they often never update the site and when you click to buy they dont have them.
I dont know how the Ti bit works, I think the barrels have an inner tungsten billet and are encased in 2 halves of ceramic.

not that grippy as the ceramic feels kind of slippy.
