Unicorn

New XQMax Razor HD board.....
This is the new XQMax dartboard. there are two models a "standard" razor wire board with veins, and a HD board without......now i may be wrong, but judging by the spider and the number ring this looks very very much like a re-branded Unicorn HD - the original one with the white spider....

The prices are £34.50 for the HD and £26.40 for the standard model.

I believe Winmau are starting to put a similar number ring on some of their random Blade 4 boards - that said I thought this MVG board looked like a Unicorn board as well.

so they have Shot! and possibly Retriever making some darts and now Unicorn making the boards......XQMax is a strange old company for sure. It would also be a strange move from Unicorn i think. Never heard of them making products for other manufacturers before.

@Parappo if it is a re-branded Unicorn HD i suspect it will be a long way from great. The Unicorn version is not very good at all in all honesty.

Thanks for posting. It does look a lot like the Unicorn HD.

Was hoping for a nice new board, I dont really like the idea that it may just be a Unicorn HD board. It certainly looks like one.

I don't like the white spider or the cheap looking number ring so will stay away from this one.

I was hoping this would be a new board, if it's a rebranded Unicorn I would be disappointed.

Then again I thought something was up as soon as the HD number ring came to light. That screams Unicorn and I thought only they did them.

Don't know how we can find out. I will ask the guy in the dartshop if he knows anything about it.

Looks good to me. On another subject, I think Unicorn gets a bad wrap because professional dart players don't know enough to scuff their darts or they throw like a girl. Or owners of said dartboard don't rotate the board enough and then complain that it wears out in 3 months :s
