taking out 134?
i try for t17, t17, d16

t17 17 leaves you 66 with a chance of leaving 56/36 going t10/s10 last dart
2 s17s s20/t20 for 80/40 left.

how do you take or attempt the 134 out?
Play like it means nothing when it means everything

The way my game has been going lately, getting down to the madhouse as quickly as possible and hope one of my first attempts at D-1 go in.

When more confident and playing much better, T-20, T-14, D-16 was my preferred route. If the first dart hit S-20 and left me 114 I'd still throw for the T-20 on the second dart to try to leave 54 for a 3rd dart shot at the S-14 to leave tops.

Now, if I were only allowed one Treble to throw at, it would be the T-19 to try to hit 2 of them for the D-10 out shot.

I'd go T20, T20, D7. If I end up with 7 left im pretty comfortable with s3, d4

+1
T20 is the treble I'm used to going for,so it has a higher probability of me hitting it .

Actually had that very thing come up a few days ago playing doubles. I went T18 D20 D20. Missed high with the the third dart, and we got beat before my partner had a crack at it. But it seemed like a good idea at the time.
26's so far this year: I've already lost count. :-)

I'd personally be tempted to go T20-T18-D10, those who are good on T19 may go T19-T19-D10. 10 is a decent double, miss into S6/D6 gives D7/D4 respectively.

19's for me my Man.

Looking for the Two T19's of course to set up the D10.

If I only manage to hit to S19 at least I'm under 100 on 96 so my last Dart is at the T20, miss it and hit a Single I'm hopefully coming back for a crack at the 76.

If the First Dart hits T19 but the second hits a S19 to score 76 and leave me 58... then it's last Dart at the S18 to set up Tops.

If I miss First Dart and land just in the T3 bed to score 9 this leaves me 125, I'm then going straight for the 25 or Bull. Hit Bull first my last Dart is coming straight for the 25, hopefully. Hit 25 with the second Dart, coming up for 20's, preferably T20.

If I miss First Dart and land in the T7 bed at least it gives me a +20 score of 21, leaves me 113 so I stay on the 19's... Hoping for a T19 to leave me 56 and a chance to set up Tops with my last Dart...

If I hit a T19 first dart but then hit a T21... this will leave me 56 with One Dart in hand I got a chance to set up Tops... If I hit a T3 with that second Dart this leaves me 68, with One Dart in hand I can at least try to leave my self a Check-out with Bull on my next throw, if I get one.

19's for me.

T18 D20 D20. Only need 1 triple and doubles are larger.

Here is what Kari Kaitanen says... The first column of percentages is the likelihood of an expert hitting the finish. The bolded ones are the suggested finishes for each skill level.

I know.... it's a can of worms.

The first finish is recommended as the best in the event that your opponent is sitting on 32.

My preference is T20, T14, D16.

As a B-grade player I'd go exactly this way.

My best bet is aiming at 20's. Some of the worst visits I have are when I start aiming all over the board and hitting nothing what I go for. For me 134 is, barring a near miracle, a 6 dart finish. Like Titan, if I leave x7 then that's a bonus. If I hit a total of 80 with my first two darts I'd switch to not leave x17.

For 6 darters, if I'm not on a double I like to leave either 46 or 42 as it gives me 1 dart at 6 and/or 10 with a good double either way (tops/18's from 46 or 18's/16's from 42).

T20 - T14 - D16 for me as well. I head for D16 whenever I can.
