I use L Style tips. Ive never had one break, except my No.5 L style tips. currently I use no.5 L style tips with my match darts but with my 2ba soft tip darts I say go with L style or the Target Pixel tips Guests cannot see images in the messages. Heres a list of the soft tip tips I have. Since you are new to soft tip, 2ba is the standard soft tip tip size. It is the same size as the side the shaft is on. About 95% of soft tip darts are this size and if you are not sure, just post a pic on here and one of us would be happy to help you out. No.5 is a smaller and thinner tip. On these darts the nose is tapered down to help with closer groupings.
Black L-Style 2ba - I have these in Red also https://www.a-zdarts.com/Products/Approx...td-01.aspx Blue L-Style 2ba with rings. These are a little longer than the other 2 https://www.a-zdarts.com/Products/Approx...US-03.aspx White L-Style no.5 - I have these in black, red, and white. https://www.a-zdarts.com/Products/Approx...o5-07.aspx TITAN

I generally use US Lippoints and now trying out Cosmo Fit Plus points. target Pixel points are great, but are a bit fat and bounce out from DL2 boards.

Used in the past:
Cheap dimple tips TEFFO tuff tips Lip points short Lip point normal Lip points US Currently I use the LIp point short As i have the fewest breaks and the best feel with the darts. I still have close to a 1000 of the TEFFO tips so I use them as conversion points on my steel board from time to time as they have a rough surface on the tip that grips the board.
L-Style lippoints short. Work pretty well and almost never break. I've probably had 3 break in the past 1 and 1/2 years. I change them eventually once I've had to bend them back a few times.
Regular Lip Points but my only experience with them is limited to an Arachnid G3 board. Hardly ever had to change a point. To the point where I might have changed 1 or 2 over the summer.

Switched to Condor and never looked back. They hardly bend and takes a pretty insane shot to break them. Tough as nails I tell ya...
where I play tips are provided, cheap tips but hard to beat free.
