Bobby and Marie love their animals - they have 5 dogs, 1 cat, 2 African Grey parrots, 4 turtles, 2 water dragons and of course all the fish in the lakes!!!
The dogs are named- TWOPEE,VISA,GILDA, FIVER and CASH
The cat - DOLLAR.
The parrots are GEORGE and CHELSEA.
The fish are all called FISH
Most of all loves being at home with the family and his beloved George Hall and Lakes.

Wow,silversaber,you know your stuff. I thought i was good on trivia,thats a lot of good stuff you have there. I met bobby and eric years ago,what i thought was an exhibition in the sands hotel in portmarnock,Dublin,turned out to be a tournament in which they both competed. An irish guy,maybe from co meath,beat bristow in the semis,and then bobby george in the final. they got some stick that night,i can tell you. Did you know that bobby george won the news of the world title only 2 years after he started playing darts. Also eric was the first player since the legendary Tom Barrett to win the News of the World comp in successive years. Steve Beaton, the year he won it,beat Bristow in the Finals the year steve won.

I remember Steve Beaton beating Co Stompé, John Part, Martin Adams, Andy Fordham and finally Richie Burnett to win the BDO World Championship in 1996. No mean feat!
I also remember that I hadn't thrown a dart for a couple of years before this as I swapped the darts team for the pool team, but after watching Beaton win the BDO WC bought a set of Leo Lauren's darts from a bloke in the pub and have been playing ever since.
