On youtube, there is a video of Fordham v Taylor, called the showdown. The announcer says something like " Andy Fordham is throwing 14 gm darts."

Really???

Was he really tossing a 14 gm dart? Has he switched or was the announcer wrong?

Yeah, that's the match where during a break, he collapsed and was taken to hospital.

ive actually spoken to him about this.

basically he fell over p****d a few months before. shattering his wrist. the cast came off about a week or so before the match. he'd barely played + the sheer amount of booze he imbibed got to him.

At this point though he was in horrendous condition and probably closer to 40 stone! it was all booze, the guy barely ate a thing!

They said he had 18 litres of fluid removed from his lungs due to pluerisy....and they warned him to stop drinking or need a liver transplant.
