I would think with all the technology they would be able to make a steel tip board without the wire and having bounce outs, maybe even being able to plug in a electronic readout that will determine where the dart is or to score..

To be fair I've heard many steel tip players complain after they get a bounce out "I would have won" "I could have won if the dart didn't bounce out"
