I would think with all the technology they would be able to make a steel tip board without the wire and having bounce outs, maybe even being able to plug in a electronic readout that will determine where the dart is or to score..

They have to make a board with the backboard of Shot,the sisal of a dual core, the spider of the bulls adv III(but without that ugly connection of the spider).

getting a bounce out is no excuse though. Look at Gary Anderson from his match with Phil Taylor during the world cup LOL.
They actually do have a sisal, steel tipped board that is electronic. Been out for years.
