Hello guys,

There's a sport i'm doing quite often, watching recorded games of the past, to know darts personas i've haven't witnessed during my fan days... One of which is Wes Newton of course. I've watched a couple of games and highlights of Wes, looked back at his resume and his past OoM rankings, just to see him even at the 7th place one year if i recall correct (think the same/previous calendar year before his PL call).

So i think his best years obviously have been between 2011 - 2014, where he also had his best runs at major tournaments.

My question is with his skillset and at his top form, what do you think would be his PDC ranking (OoM) nowdays, with the overall players quality level having greatly increased? What would be his comparison in a player he's staring now in Tour? Joe Cullen? Krystoff Ratajski? Mervin King? Top 12, top 18? I'm not sure how good his was at his prime...

And a little favor to ask in the end, if anyone could help with. I'm looking in particular for one of his best games i've seen, a QF back in 2014, where Wes produced an incredible comeback win against Nicholson. I think i've found it online 1 year ago, but i can't find it now.

I'd compare Wes's ability to Cullen's, good player who today would be about 10th/11th in the world in his prime today
