I'm currently using the winmau blade 4 dc with it's three rotating posts. The small bracket gets put uner a lot of strain and is slowly loosening the screw fixings in the wall. I'm thinking about the large bulls mounting bracket but at £20 is it the best remedy out there for secure fixing with the load being spread over a greater area?

I've been using the Unicorn wall clamp for the last couple of years - had no issues with it and as you don't put any screws in the back of the board I'm sure it helps prolong the life of the bullseye

Thanks I'll definitely keep that one in mind. It looks like there are three wall screw holes in it. That should spread the load better.
Yes there are 3 wall screws in it - makes it nice and solid as well.
Hadn't really considered the rota lock system putting strain on the bracket. Makes sense now I think of it!

The Bulls Rotating Bracket uses four screws that go into the board and another four that go into the wall or backboard. IMO, it's a good bracket system and the price is definitely reasonable. I think it’s always a good idea to use a backboard, too. You can mount the backboard directly into wall studs and then mount the board onto the backboard, which should beat up less on your wall.
I have removed the Rota-loc from my B4DC and mounted it on MDF cut to the size of my surround, just the screw in the centre to mount the board and the surround holds the board really steady but I will look at the Unicorn mount for future boards if it helps save the Bullseye
Best bracket by a mile is the unicorn "T" bracket as stated in earlier posts.
How is the Unicorn 'T' bracket attached to the wall? Does it use the standard bracket?
All pictures I've seen of it only show how it clamps onto the board, but not how you secure it to the wall. Does anyone have pics of theirs that demonstrates that part? Thanks Bruce
If you look at the following pic you can see 3 holes in the bars - you screw it to the wall using these holes
