Great practice tips from Barney
I like Ray and this video clip shows what a nice and helpful bloke he is.

The interesting incite I got from this was how high the calibre of practice routines must be for the top players.

My father Merlin, once told me that "You should end up pointing to what you were aiming at when you've released the Dart."

Yes gents he was very open and helpful wasn't he?
I have incorporated one of his routines into my sole practice sessions i.e after my double and bull round I start at 131 and go to 140 trying to close them within 6 darts. The only difference is if I miss I don't go back to the startGuests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
It's a tough one for me but I do enjoy the challenge and the near misses keep me going at it. It's feels great when I manage to get out in 4 darts and with some luck I've had a few 3 dart finishes on some numbers too.
Having done this a few times now I would thoroughly recommend this type of thing for those looking to raise the bar a bit.

My favourite finish to practice is 125. Lots of math involved if you miss the bull. The routine is to try to finish in 3 darts, or set up a double. After watching Barney, it is probably better to just finish in 6 darts.
