The darts come in a standard Harrows slimline case; nothing special here.

A very nice looking dart then! These are the 16g model (which I mistakenly assumed meant a 16g barrel, like steel tip. I was wrong Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. ). But how do they measure up?

Drilled out quite far at the back then. Quite a short barrel, great for me (I think that's the norm with soft-tip barrels though?). Anyway, time to take some:
Weights
Here's just the stem and flight combo:

And here's just the plastic point, which is light as anything (no surprise there).

Here's the 3 barrels. Bear in mind the lightest one has had tungsten putty in (as part of a later test to see if I liked them heavier).

Grip
I know the dart is the wrong way round here (that's double-2BA threads for you Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. ) but here's how I grip it:

These darts really surprised me. I'm used to 21-25g darts, so throwing these and feeling how they went and seeing I was almost more consistent than with my steels... it was a revelation. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. I think I might just be a light-dart guy. Someone get me a set of 14g Hankeys so I can make sure I'm not just imagining things here. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
Scores on the doors
Looks: 8.5/10. Very nice to look at, especially the Dimplex grip.
Match weighting: 9/10. 0.04 difference, very very good!
Value: 8.5/10. Slightly on the expensive side at £21 but great for the money.
Suitability for me: 10/10. LOVE 'EM. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
How nice to throw: 9/10. Brilliant grip, and lovely to throw, especially for such light barrels.
Final Score: 9.5/10. All I can say is this: WOW. Easily my new match darts I think. Never thought I'd be saying that about 14.5g barrels. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
