So I recently started using fit flights, and I got myself some spinners.
Just wondering, what are the reasons for using locked? Stability? Perceived rattle?
So, which do you use, and why?

Spinners. They help a bit with grouping and in soft tip can protect the stem in bounce outs. The rattle is something to get used to though. When I use regular flights I can see more deflections from the fixed flights. Haven't used Locked Fit though.

When I used Cosmos I used spinners and didn't hear any rattle or anything - tried locked a couple of times and seemed to have more deflections.

Frisco
I use Spinners I put a little piece of Tissue in the ends of the Flights this will stop the Rattling and you can control how Freely the Flights will Spin or you can make them Fixed/Locked.

I have always used locked as i don't like the flights rattling or moving. Have to say though I am getting more deflections than ever for some reason and need to change something. I have just sent for some ordinary flights as i felt it was the rigidity of the Cosmos that stop one brushing past the other.

Locked for me. I'm not a fan of stuff moving on my darts.

I never really like spinner until I tried the Cosmo stuff. That being said I find they don't really spin the air but will spin out of the way on the board and tend to last longer. If I was going to use non spinning I would probably switch to L Style as I like their locked better than locked cosmos.

I've been using L shaft carbon locked for awhile, then switched to L shaft silent (the plasticky one) and I noticed that mine doesn't rattle that much as compared to my friends L shaft silent. Both of us bought our shafts at the same time and I've definitely been playing more than him, but my spin seem to be "stiffer" than his, with significantly less rattle. Wonder if there's slight differences in the shaft even straight out of the box.

I'm merely commenting that some shafts rattle, and some don't, despite both being the same product, albeit a different brand.

That's ok man, I don't know why I am still surprised about getting answers about oranges when you specifically ask about apples... but I probably do it myself as well so...

Been using locked, but I'm going to have to try spinners as I notice I'm getting a lot more deflections as my groupings get closer.
