What is everyones favourite weight of dart and why?

I play with anything from 16-20 grams. Weight isn't a big issue for me as long as the dart 'feels' right

Gotta agree with Cyanide..... if the darts are poorly balanced, it does not matter what they weigh. Poorly balanced means not the right balance point for you.

For me anything from my 21g Kings to my 23g Carreras and sometimes my 25g Phase 6 Purists. I agree with Cy, weight is less relevant for me - all in the feel.

23 grams Right now, I have a set 30 grams and 28 grams but I'm not using them for now.

To be very specific... 19.5 grams.

If it's the shape of dart I prefer. I find I like a couple more grams with longer barrels.

18 gram but I play mainly soft tip. Probably stay the same for steel tip

Ideal weight for me is 23g.

Side Note:

Here's a challenge. Try to hold your darts and guess its weight. I'm sure you will find some 20g to feel heavier than the 24g and vice versa. it's actually the feel of the darts that matters.

For me whenever I throw a Taylor/Lowe type dart I prefer it around 25g. With my normal pencil type I like 21/22g. That has something to do with the length also (do not like darts exceeding 51mm).

I can use 20 to 23g but 22g is my favourite by far. Not really sure why but they just feel right

Most of my darts are 22-24 gram, always used 24 until a short while ago but 22 gram Hellfires have been my go for a while.
Just got a set of barrels very similar to them in 18 gram but slightly more grip and they are flying really well at the moment ( damn going on ebay when I am bored ) LOL
