Hexoset
Hi All,

I’m on the lookout for Hexoset darts (DHEX1 mainly but would like to try the DHEX3 out also) as Red Dragon has informed I that they have discontinued them after I had placed an order online with them.

A nice lady from RD called me today to apologise for the mix up as it’s the stores that tell her that there out of stock and not the computer system, I did ask her who makes them but unfortunately for me it’s RD and they have stopped production completely.

I did see John Weber using these darts against Terry Jenkins during this year’s PDC World Championship and I personally think they are a nice darts and considering all of the other dart that RD sell make it seems a shame to discontinue the complete range but I do understand supply and demand and I have seen other reviews that say the grip is not for them.

Any help would be great as the only place I can find them now is in Australia for far too much money.

Anyhow if anyone is looking at selling please give me a shout.

Thanks

Dan

I have tried so many darts in all styles and weights the past and these at the moment are hitting the spot (not so many 26s) I use wax with these which is again something I have never used before.

Did you end up getting any yet?

Hi All,
I'm still on the hunt for the dhex1s 24g.

I just bought 4 sets of 24g on ebay as they only made these in 22g and 24g.

When they arrived they all weigh 26g, I have sent 2 sets off to Madhouse to get modified which will bring the weight down a bit anyway.

I'm positive these where some form of a prototype but never reaced the catalogues.

There is a touch more to this tail also but I'll save it for another day.

I must say they are a great dart and can't understand why they are now discontinued considering all the other various darts they sell.iteEyezTell the story amigo! 8)

Are the 24g and 26g the same shape? You can always just have the weight reduced in yours, but you already mentioned Madhouse so I am sure you know this.

Unfortunately they are a touch thicker, I did send a couple of 26g sets off to Tony at Madhouse to get modified but as great as they feel I keep coming back to the original 24g.

Thanks for the reply much appreciated
