Nodor Shafts - Where could I get them in UK?
Hi,

Was looking around like crazy for the Carbon Fiber and Glimmer Shafts, but I can't seem to find them at places like Pure and DC.

Does anyone know where I could get them online? Preferably from the UK, but if no UK stores stocks these, then I guess US ones.

For the Shimmer ones, are there possible alternatives?

Looking at Short and Tweenies.

If you were looking for medium carbon ones then Epic Sports has those - under the Winmau name anyway (they are the same company as Nodor) - but they don't have the short or extra short

I'm surprised Red Dragon don't stock the Nodor ranges (again part of the same family of companies) - maybe you could give Nodor a call and ask if you can buy any from them direct

I'm afraid I need short or tweenies. I use mediums once in awhile for very short periods but always go back to shorts/tweenies.

Don't know about Carbon ones but Red Dragon do Glitter in short length believe they are nylon though they are advertised on E bay uk.

Not sure why they didn't come up when I looked earlier but after seeing Little Al's post above I just checked RD again and they have the glitter/shimmer ones on their shop site in both short and medium - here is a link to the short

At any rate, I've contacted Nodor directly as well. Hope they respond.

SIGH ...

Nodor/Winmau (the shafts are Winmau) replied with a local distributor. It was truly a hassel contacting the local dealer, and found out that there's only a dismal amount of Winmau shafts in this country - ONE aluminium, medium type!!! That's it!

Wrote back to Winmau the second time, and again asked for a UK store only to be told that they can only tell me dealer's details ... but guess what? No UK dealer's details! Don't think the Winmau lady is going to reply to my request for a UK dealer ... so it looks like I'm totally out of luck here, especially with the Carbon Fiber Short Shaft.

I don't think i want to order the Shimmer from Red Dragon, because shipping for anything up to 200 g will cost close to EIGHT GBP!!!

Please DNF, do keep a look out for the Carbon Fiber and Glimmer in Short for me. Thanks guys!!! Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Hoping there's a helpful response on the Winmau thread.

If Unicorn, I'd go with DC.
