The Interchangable Chuck End Dart

Thought I'd share these that I picked up a while ago, I don't know much about them to be honest, other than the information printed inside the box.
It says ...Patentees and manufacturers : JAMES SMITH AND SON (Redditch) Ltd, Astwood Bank, Redditch.

Its not a name iv'e ever come across before, but maybe other members have a set, it seems a bit of a gimmick really for how often points are changed, looks like they found a possible solution for changing to soft tip long before soft tip was in existence.

Nice Neil, I just got some of those recently, same style of box but a slightly different barrel shape, also came with a pack of unopened points too. Not took any pics yet but will post them when I do.

I think I saw them a couple of weeks ago Darren, 99p starting bid then the sale ended early, so you must of made an offer mate

I have a packet of points with mine as well but didn't place them in the pic

I think they were an early darts gimmick really, seems a little over engineered for a problem that was not really needing a solution, but great to have for collecting reasons.
