I figured we have several threads for other shots, so I thought maybe this could be another thread fellow Nutz could contribute to.
For those of you who are just starting, a Shanghai is where you hit a Treble, Single and Double of the same number. You'll hear it occasionally watching darts, usually on the 20s to check out 120 but the term Shanghai applies to any number you hit T, S, D.
I'll sometimes practice this when playing round the clock.
Before making this thread I didn't realise that Shanghai was actually a game played, but here's a link explaining Shanghai and the origins of the term.

I'll get us started with some pictures I've taken of my Shanghais since I started playing.

Just threw some random shanghai's for 15 min, only hit 2. Everytime I did hit single and treble I missed the double Guests cannot see images in the messages. Wanted the 19 as well but the last double didn't want to go in.

Shanghai is the favorite 501 outing strategy in soft tip. Because you can finish the game by hitting triples. If you miss, there's still the doubles.
So if you have 30 left, in soft tip. more players would prefer to go for T10 than D15. Lol funny why they named this after a Chinese province.

Haha brilliant Adams, worth a shot. I found an old Harrows board like this in the shed, from when my dad was 15-16 roughly. He's 50 now.

Have you painted the spider on your board?

No, it's just the way the light from my surround hits it. I thought about it, but I figured it would get nicked up pretty fast.

Decided to swap my normal flights and stems for some Cosmos, managed 2 Shanghais (wasn't initially aiming for the first one but I was the second!)
