MVG Darts
I had a blast of the MVG Darts last night I won them off ebay and they arrived in great condition as described by the seller 25grams.

Another set for my collection Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

I play with Simon Whitlocks darts but I enjoy a brief change and as a collector I must try out other darts It's amazing how different they all are.

The first game against the wee one was a 140....Yeah I know smashing in a 140 then giving it large...I think my wee girl was ready to hoof me in the shins shes only 6!!

But I must say the MVG darts are a brilliant set very impressed...I will add that I also hit the double after the 140,,,hahaGuests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

i love the look of the MVG darts but for some reason they do not fly right for me. Funnily enough i have the same problem the Van de Voort darts i got this week. It just seems Masterdarts don't work for me.

Yeah I think they are a good dart, they are a little long on some of the weights but overall very good Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

I have hit 3 of 140s over 2 days and I played over short periods of time. I'm a collector so I will play my mates with a different set but when it comes to a team or cup i will go straight back for my whitlocks.

You know when theres darts that are good for you when your taking a beating and you start to think about "the other ones"

I actually enjoy playing with the MVG Darts. If I hadnt made myself a pledge of allegiance to the wizards darts Id have changed by now.

Last year I never stuck with the same darts for over a month I think this caused me problems. So my new years resoloution was to spend the entire year of 2015 using the whitlocks and I must admit they are the darts for me.

I have a set of Masterdarts MVG in 23g. I love everything about them except the grip.
For some reason they tend to slip in my hand on occasion . The inconsistent slipping
is the reason they are not my go to darts..

One of my favourite darts to throw. I just wish the 23g version was a similar length to the other weights.

Hi there,
I'm keen to try a MVG style dart, both in terms of the weight and the grip. I'm about to pull the trigger on the McKicks mighty grips in 25 g, but they are a little longer than the Masterdarts equivalent. Has anyone got experience of both?

Also to confuse matters, DC have the Steve Brown masterdarts at only 15 quid which is even cheaper than the McKicks. I don't suppose anyone has used them too and can provide a comparison?

cheers!

I actually like the Grip. But I'm in love with the wixards darts I change for a bit of fun now and then as I'm a collector and I like how each dart is different.

I have a set of 23g MVG darts & like The G said they do have a tendency to slip as you are about to throw them.

The only thing that puts me off van gerwen darts is their not matched weighted as shown in getagrips review of his set.
