Red Dragon Arm Support
The Arm support item listed on the RD website has a very brief description which does not inspire me to purchase it yet i would like to know much more about this product.

Description copied and pasted

Developed specifically to improve, protect and correct the dart throwing arm. The dart arm support is a dream for training and playing with perfect biomechanics.

One size fits all.

Can you tell us more about this item?

Maybe but it's worth asking isn't it?

the description is a little brief and there are no videos on youtube to show a demo.

Yes mate, ask away...

Even though I think it's all Bollocks... I'd be intrigued to see some Pics and a more in depth explanation of this device.

I did not know that even the Red Dragon to produce , but it is the same compression sleeve that uses Paul Lim.

it works like any other compression gear for running, Cycling etc , benefit from compressing the muscle and not making him tear or stretch, blood circulation and other benefits.

you can see paul lim in the video and read the article below.

Cheers Morizzo... Nice one.

I envisioned some sort of mechanical Bloody arm device, some thing strapped to your shoulder and such like....

I find this intriguing and could help a lot of people to improve. Am yet to be convinced ,so if anybody gets this a review would be most appreciated Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Suffering from tennis elbow I have used tubigrip (compression bandage) when its really painful - if anything it hinders the throw as it restricts a fluid arm movement, may keep your arm straighter etc but given the choice I would play without any sort of compression on my elbow.

Just my thoughts like - may work for some people.

I think they are worth using if you suffering some kind of strain, I tried one and it did seem to help me by giving some support and allowing me to play a little longer than I would without it Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

This could be just what i need. My elbow has been particularly sore recently and i'm having to cut right back on my practice.

I think Anastasia uses one now too. They seem to be very popular with the Asian soft tip players also. I have used compression shirts and shorts when playing football, and i found them to be very comfortable once i got used to them. great for keeping moisture away and for helping to keep muscles warm. Not sure about wearing one for darts myself, but i could cut the sleeve off of one of my old shirts at some point i guess.

I have a edge sport x phi ten compression arm sleeve, it comes in different sizes depending on the circumference of your arm, and has muscle tapes that help recovery inside the part that covers your tricep/biceps. I find it particularly useful when I feel that my arm is weak with no strength to it (and i only use it when this happens), it enables me to throw as i would normally do using less effort. Some people may find it a gimmick, but to each his own! One man's meat might be another man's poison.

As far as I am concerned, every man's *meat* is poison...
