A blazer badge that was owned by none other than Leighton Rees!
I don't think it has ever been used but was a spare. The guy I got it from was well known to most if not all the players in the early days and also had a part in the famous split, don't know if I can say his name and he is away on holiday at present, but I asked Patrick Chaplin about him and he confirmed that he knew him, so I'm confident that the story of the badge is true.
He was given the badge by Leighton in the early 1980's.
It has a kind of gold coloured metal thread as you see in the pic, enjoy! Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Leighton Rees is my most favourite player of all time. He was a great player and also a really nice bloke as well - I met him years ago at an exbo when I used to live in Norwich. The smoothest action I think I've ever seen.

Thats great Mike, I have heard a lot of people say he was a nice guy.
I wish I had a set of his original weirdly shaped flights.
I like his throwing action too, he kind of draws a line to the target before throwing a bit like Andy Hamilton.
