Hi, I'm new too darts. My wife has played for years and has gotten me hooked on it. My biggest question is how do I stop breaking soft tips on my viper 18 gram darts? I keep breaking them! Thanks in advanced

Wecome!
I see you're in the US. What soft tips points are you using? If you're not using L Style Lippoints, you should start. The most popular length/style is the "Standard" length....it's the bottom 3 rows on this page. https://www.a-zdarts.com/Category/L-Styl...oints.aspx These are so much stronger and you'll notice a huge difference.
I've been using what came with the vipers, but will look into those tips! Thanks

I have used them Lip Points on 24g Mega Thrust and they worked a treat, very tough points and I'd 2nd Regulatori's recommendation. At first your darts will be slightly harder to pull out of the board but after a few throws it will become much easier. Just remember to twist the barrel in your hand as you're pulling out the darts.
I went ahead and put my Walmart brand tips and seem too hold up on my own board at the house

Go ahead and get the tips Regulatori recommended. It will totally improve your soft tip experience. No more broken tips and way less bounce outs.
If you want me to send you some samples for free shoot me a PM, I was just sent a boatload of them and I don't play soft tip anymore.
