Most of my practice involves using Eric Bristowe rings on the dart board on areas that I need to improve or try to consolidate on!
The best practice for me at the beginning of my career if you had a partner was to play these following games all at once!
High (highest score with 3 darts)
Low (lowest score with 3 darts)
color (pick a colour and try hit it e.g red, green white black)
101
201
301
shanghai (use any number taking turns to hit treble double single, first person to hit them all wins)
killer
bull (closest bull wins)
bull 2 (Throw all 3 darts and eliminate whoevers is furthest away each round)
hoops (try hit the inside of one of the closed numbers e.g 10, 14, 8 etc but all 3 darts must be in, this can be a great laugh as you can knock other players darts out as they get cramped)
Around the world 1 (3 lives going round 1,2,3,4 etc winner is furthest person bull included)
Around the world 2 (clockwise around the board, 1,18,4,13 etc)
Around the world 3 ( blacks only clockwise e.g 18,13,10 etc)
Around the world 4 ( whites only clockwise, 1,4,6 etc)
Around the world 5 (1,2,3,4,5 hitting small singles only - the bit between treble and bull)
Line (pick a number e.g 20 then hit the opposite number and bull to make a line) so it would be 20,3 and bull or 1,19, bull etc
Line 2 (same but use doubles
Line 3 (same as above but use trebles)
250 points (countdown from 250 hitting only bullseys and 25)
ADDING (throw 3 weak hand darts and you have to try checkout that score)
7 targets (pick a number e.g 20, you have to hit outer board 20, d20, high single, t20, low single 25 and bull)
501
1001
Bobs 27

My father Merlin, once told me that "You should end up pointing to what you were aiming at when you've released the Dart."

Bump for the new players over the last few years. Just got back into the game after a long layoff due to new family member. Straight back into the routine and eyeing up Q school next year

Cheers mate. Let me know if it works (if you've downloaded my exe file). BTW, the limits for routines 5 - 8 (best of 9 etc.) are just my prefered way. You can play either of those routines all day long :-)

Let me know if you had some issues with finding it, downloading it or running it. The link in the video leads to my website.
https://steeldartsprerov.czweb.org/ke-stazeni/
The file is called elevendarters_checkouts_en_1.06.01.exe . There's also a czech version with cz instead of en in the name. Also, in case you have already downloaded it earlier, there used to be the version 1.06.exe. In the newer version 1.06.01.exe I added a feature "Undo" into the game of 501. And when I was praciticing the other day I was thinking I could write a piece of code that would allow to mark the "left score" instead of what was hit (in the 501 game).
