Wiz Lock
Anyone have any thoughts on the Wiz Lock system?
Thinking of trying it although not sure.

I use it and it's pretty good I've been using it for a month and have had no problems no flights have come off and it does make the darts look sexy as hell Guests cannot see images in the messages. It works though and I would recommend it Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

On a side note you can buy a set of pre-punched flights with 1 set of caps for roughly £1.50 if you just wanna try it Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Hope this helps Gaz Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

They are a good system, but can be a little fiddly to use. Also puts a bit of added weight on the back of your dart.
I also found they worked better on certain nylon stems.
I used to use them but, with my current set up I don't want any extra weight at the rear of my darts.
So I have just gone to titanium pigeon rings and punched flights.
This post below shows some benefits of using the Whiz lock and storm points in a combination

Thanks, sounds good. I'm toying with either trying the Wiz Lock or One80's Interlite system or both (with pre punched flights they work out about the same and I can always get a punch later)

Yeah Whizlock works, but given the cost and fiddliness [ok I invented a word] is it worth it? Nylon stems are cheap enough. Haven't tried Interlite, but the same reasoning applies.

I agree in a way but springs can be fiddly (yeah I stole your wordplay Guests cannot see images in the messages. But You can buy just on set of each system for a couple of £ just to try them and your golden Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Thanks. I think I'll give the Wiz Lock a go.

with the whiz the silver caps have a couple advantages over the black ones. occasionally, but not often a flight and cap will get knocked off, and then occasionally but not often the cap will come out of its slot, when this happens the silver ones are much easier to to find and fix, also the silver ones stay looking new but the black ones will get the coating scuffed pretty quick and look pretty beat up but they still work fine.

I like them a lot. It weighs .1g per their website "At only 0.1 grams performs better than any shaft ring." I wonder how much a titanium ring weighs, anybody know? A business card weighs 1g, so I wouldnt worry about the .1g myself.

-Ive never had a robin hood with one (I dont think anybody has, but Ive seen robin hoods with the plastic L-Style version, which are probably still extremely rare, or impossible unless you have needle sharp points).

-Way cheaper than the L-style punch (I bought mine from a local shop in California and it was like $16 or something for the Whizlock punch with 3 caps I believe, the L-Style was like $50 or maybe a little more with no caps included).

-Keeps the flights on to the point where my friend couldnt even get his off when he wanted to change flights. I could so maybe he is just a sissy.

-THey look sexy

I like them almost as much as I like Cosmo fit flights. Cosmo fit flights have all of those advantages plus the fact the flights are always at the perfect angle. Just a little extra confidence and it also prevents me from blaming the darts for bad throws.

Do you know if you can use the Wiz Lock with a Kite style flight?
