i did own these a few months ago but at the time i was throwing 17g, they were way too heavy, chunky and long.
now that im up around 24/5/6g i can appriciate them more.
heres a quick little review ;
firstly the thing that catches your eye is the looks.
while the standard phase 2 is a good looking dart the (hybrid) LP finish section on the 2a make them look fantastic.

next the specs ;
i would say 51mm is my max length im comfortable with, i prefer a dart around 48-49mm with a width of around 6.4mm
barney 2a specs;
Length: 50.55mm*
Diameter: 6.99mm*

moving on...
The grip ;
the grip is quite aggressive (for me)
which is no surprise as until a few weeks ago i was using buntings.
If your looking for a solid grip then barneys won't dissapoint
how they fly;
heres how i grip

and how they land

after trying different set ups i went with a medium nylon stem with a pear flight to get the trajectory and angle of entry i like.
my style of throw; hard and flat
angle of entry preffered : flat
Final Thoughts;
looks - 9/10 especially with storms
dimensions suitability for me - 7/10
grip - 7.5/10
overall suitabilty - 7.5/10
beautiful looking, nice solid grip and great to throw
