I didn't see a thread for this so I wanted to start one based on my experience.
I had the chance to get my first sets of customs made. I wanted a mix between the Wolfram and the knurling of a hammerhead dart. I went through Matt at Hands-On-Darts.com, after seeing his name mentioned on this forum. He was excellent to work with. Quick responses through email and he even called and talked with me for about 20 minutes, to make sure everything was just how I wanted it. It took about a week after first contact to have them made. He is located in Georgia, USA and I couldn't recommend him more. I was very please Matt could help me out with everything I wanted, and the darts came out perfectly. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks Matt!

Sounds great. I just contacted him for a project I'm working on. It makes sense for me to use a custom maker in the USA as the shipping oversea's can get expensive. I can mail him a set of darts for $2.25 and it cost me $12 to mail a set of darts oversea's.

I agree. Shipping cost me $5. I originally asked madhouse before I found out about Matt. They couldn't do the knurling I was looking for and shipping is $23. Matt does a great job! Good luck on your project!

I sent Matt an email and 20 minutes later he called me up. How's that for customer service?

Anyway, I'm going to send him some darts for modification next week. I like the fact that's he's in the USA so shipping will be a minimum and no more long waits because my darts get stuck in customs for a week or so. I looked everywhere I could have sworn I started a thread before but I was wrong. I have a set by him. Does great work and cool to work with. I think he has some sort of machining degree and even makes his own tooling. He says he can do ANYTHING, that was before the cortex grip came out but I am sure within reason he can do most stuff anyone would want. Madhouse is always my go to now because of forum support and other reasons but I got my first custom set from Matt.

These guys deserve all of the postive comments . I started talking to Matt about a set of darts about a week ago. I was looking for a custom set of darts with the #5 tip not the 2BA. Even though Matt had never done them before he was willing to give it a try. Before even getting my design and money he wanted to try it out to make sure he could get the thread right. When he got it down we completed the order and he is currently making my darts now. His communications are outstanding. He will reach out to you when he has any questions very promptly and answers any questions you have extremely quick. I can't wait to see the finished product. thanks Matt!
