As with all One80 darts the Bavaria darts are handmade to a high standard, they are 90% tungsten darts which have a front weighted bias and a very nice ringed and groove front grip.
The RRP is £45.99 but you can get them for less if you shop around. They come in a nice stylish package supplied with a One80 Solibox:

They are slightly tapered and have vertical grooves in the front rings to aid grip, also the gaps in-between the front rings is quite wide adding to the grip which I would say is an above medium grip but not too aggressive. The back of the barrels are a standard smooth ring grip.

As you can see in the close shot above the transition from the point to barrel is very neat and smooth which is a feature with all One80 darts.
The darts are very closely match weighted:

My grip on these darts:

These darts quite suited my throwing style although they felt like they were dipping a little too much at first but I adjusted quickly, they were maybe a touch long for me but after throwing with the medium stems in the vid I tried some short stems and found it to be much better. I really like the grip at the front, it is not too aggressive but still has a very assured feel, probably because the rings are quite widely spaced and the vertical grooves adds that little bit of extra grip.
One problem as you can see in the vid was the shiny silver points, as I had a few drop outs, my fault really as I should have scuffed the points a little, but if you watch the vid check out the slow-mo dart fall outGuests cannot see images in the messages. I often have that same problem with new shiny silver points which is one of the reasons I prefer black coated ones.
Quality of the darts is faultless really, the more I see of the One80 range the more I am impressed with the quality, the smooth transition from point to barrel is a big plus point and one that should help with close contact with flights.
The price is the only major issue with them really, but in fairness you are also getting a Solibox which has to be better than no case at all and is certainly better than some of the cases supplied with darts.
All round a very nice dart and an easy 9/10Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
