Vintage Score Pad
Iv'e had this for a few years now, but thought it about time I put it on here.

Not sure of it's date but if I had to take a guess id say possibly 40s/50s

It appears to be chrome, with a place to engrave a name on the front and replaceable notepads slot inside.

Its a lovely little piece.

The score pad was here when I got home a short while ago - needs cleaning up a little, but here is the front:

Nice Mike. I wonder if Cardiff emblem has been glued on by somebody, or has been done at the time of manufacture?

My guess is the pad came without the badge and then whoever bought it stuck the badge on later. If the badge was there to start with then I doubt anyone outside of Cardiff would want one, so there would only be a limited catchment area for them.

I think so as well, as I would have thought if it was part of the manufacture they would have made the emblem in silver not brass, but saying that it all adds to its charm and history. Good Find

I just won another one of these last night - this time with a Dawlish (it's in Dorset) badge on. I was the only bidder so got it for £8 with free delivery. Wonder how many other leagues used to put badges on and give these out?
