I'm putting together an order from DC for several sets of darts. I threw 22g for many years and bumped up to 23g when I bought my current darts (Silver Trim Silver Lightnings, no longer available, but the designa exterminator looks identical). My current darts are straight barreled ringed and are getting beat up from points hitting the rings and raising burrs on the barrels. Talk about something that will mess up your game. I carry a small file in my dart box. Don't know how you folks with shark grips cope with this problem.
Anyhow, the darts that I like range in weight from 20g to 23g. I've been using Harrows Magnetic spinners for a few years and am tired of them, having to straighten prongs and replace them way too frequently. Now I'm set on trying out the Cosmo fit flight hybrid stems, probably size 4 with standard size air flights. My question is, how much does this stem/flight system weigh? Kind if need to know this to decide which darts to select. The real light ones (Designa Stilettos, 20g), might be drilled deep enough to add a gram or so if needed. I'm also ordering Target Distinction Orions, am stuck between two weights and for that amount of money want to get it right the first time.
Thanks for any help.
