Cosmo info
I'm putting together an order from DC for several sets of darts. I threw 22g for many years and bumped up to 23g when I bought my current darts (Silver Trim Silver Lightnings, no longer available, but the designa exterminator looks identical). My current darts are straight barreled ringed and are getting beat up from points hitting the rings and raising burrs on the barrels. Talk about something that will mess up your game. I carry a small file in my dart box. Don't know how you folks with shark grips cope with this problem.
Anyhow, the darts that I like range in weight from 20g to 23g. I've been using Harrows Magnetic spinners for a few years and am tired of them, having to straighten prongs and replace them way too frequently. Now I'm set on trying out the Cosmo fit flight hybrid stems, probably size 4 with standard size air flights. My question is, how much does this stem/flight system weigh? Kind if need to know this to decide which darts to select. The real light ones (Designa Stilettos, 20g), might be drilled deep enough to add a gram or so if needed. I'm also ordering Target Distinction Orions, am stuck between two weights and for that amount of money want to get it right the first time.
Thanks for any help.

The Air's would be slightly lighter. Maybe around 1.5 grams?

These are standard Cosmo's with a #5 stem.

I had actually seen that thread and failed to remember it and correlate with my question, DUH! Went to weigh my current setup again because I don't remember the weight and the battery in my scale is down. Everything turns into a project!Guests cannot see images in the messages. The hybrids are a little lighter too.

1.37 grams, size 4 spinning hybrid (99% sure, may be 5s) and fit flight standard airs

Thanks again. Turns out my current setup (23g barrels, short alum. Harrows spinners, holog. flights and flight protectors), which works well for me weighs a whopping 25.6g total. Tried throwing my 22g Mach III's for a bit and they're too touchy and unforgiving and stick into the board all the way to the barrels. Changes the order I'm preparing to make, as I'd been looking at some lighter darts and now will stick with 23g. Glad I asked.
