Arron Monk banned for 6 months?

I heard a rumor that PDC banned him for 6 months and he's moving over to BDO. It's not like he was tearing up the top 20 but he's still currently ranked 56 (was 48th) in OOM.

No idea why he was banned. Darts Regulation Authority of course is keeping their lips sealed.

I heard (also a rumor) that it may have been because he is such a hot head. Who knows if we will ever know.

I only watch a few different sports and seems just about every one of them reveals the details behind suspensions...why does DRA seem so closed lip about their punishments? Wouldn't it be wiser to just announce the infraction, the discipline, and dispel all rumors?

i do think they should be more open with suspensions. i see no real reason for the cloak and dagger approach.

He may not even be allowed to play in the BDO as there may be some sort of tie in with the DRA for disciplinary matters as well.

From reading elsewhere it would seem he threw his toys out of his pram throwing his darts all over the place missing the board and whatnot, and one of the chalkers refused to mark for him. Apparently he was already on a suspended ban at the time as well. The lad is an idiot.

It's very rare now that the PDC/DRA publish details of any disciplinary actions - I think the last one was when Anderson got banned from a Euro event about 18 months ago.

Dude is definitely jacked. I would guess he's taking advantage of some of the ultra pure testosterone that is produced and sold in the UK. Look what it did for Dorian Yates over the period of one year...
