Target Darts.

Struggle, Struggle, Struggle THEN Like Taking Candy from a Baby
I have been really struggling lately. Expecting, pushing, practicing and trying so hard to improve.

Go to a few tournaments and everything is pulling to the left and feeling stiff.

Then last night I get a performance that was effortless. No tension. Every dart in the wedge. Every 2/3 dart in the Triple.

What a feeling. Made the game feel so simple. Easy.

How in the heck? What precisely happened?

Like Saber said, focused. Times like that the trips and doubles look the size of those fat grade school pencils and the bullseye is the size of a half dollar to you. Everything is flowing just right, no tension, no yips, just smooth strokes, straight flights to the board and premiums hits. Enjoy it while it lasts.

You will find the more tournament play you participate in will allow you to relax more as it is not a totally new experience and the darts will respond accordingly. If you are not already in league play, I'd suggest you try that out and see how that goes for you. That way you get to play every week in singles and probably doubles with different partners depending on how the league play format is set up.
