If it was paid through PayPal can they help with anything? Hope it gets sorted for you either with a refund or the darts.

Ouch. Don't ever do that in the future. But still file a claim and explain your story. Ya might get it sorted.
I doubt if you can file a claim over an alledged "gift". You're admitting to a perjury and that may not sound good. It might aggravate the issue at hand. Just tell them you sent a money gift to the wrong person and try your luck from there. That alibi might work.

If you want to file a complaint against stokie1863, please file it amongst our Admins formally explaining the details of the transaction, etc. I'll assure you this will be acted upon immediately.

PS: Let's give stokie the benefit of the doubt until we hear his side. He is an active member with good reputation rating too.
I give him some time to react, no contact is not good. if their is something always stay in contact is my opinion.

That's the thing people don't understand.

Everyone has hiccups in life that catch you off guard/makes you super busy/changes your financial status, etc..

I think most people are more accepting/forgiving if you simply communicate and explain things. No one has a perfect life...stuff happens. Just keep an open dialogue with the person you're selling/buying. It clears up so many issues and unnecessary drama.

Been informed that Fred and stokie1863 were able to resolve this issue by themselves like true gentle"Nutz".

I'm closing this thread with a smile. I'm proud of these two gentlemen. Even if this transaction has not gone well, it deserves positive feedback from both members.
