I've been trying my game, whatever it may be, using this on-line cricket game.
Is it better to use the computer trainer that is a lot better than I am or to build confidence, try and match the skill level I think I'm at?

I've been using it for a little while now as well to hone my 01 skills.

My approach is to use a level that will beat me if I don't throw WELL. If I throw average or poorly I don't want the win. Can't remember what my record is off-hand, but it's not a winning record, that's for sure. Lol


EDIT: Haha, yeah I'm at 5 wins and 10 losses all against trainer 3.

I was using the level 3 on pro-darter and not getting beat real bad but getting hammered some games. I'll go back to that one and suffer the humiliation of defeat and hopefully improve. I figure it has to happen at some point..................could somebody tell me if it's better to set the finish to one dart or 3 dart finish? I've had it on 1 dart finish thinking it made the game closer. Is that not correct?

I play against the level 5 or 6 on 01 games. I tend to beat the level 5 player and often give them the darts in the games (to make it a bit harder for me).
But against the level 6 player I take the darts in the 01 games, to give myself a better chance of the win.

I have also played a few games of cricket, but find the level 5 trainer is a lot better than the level 5 trainer on the 01 games.

A tip to you guys always beating the computer on a certain level.... Let the computer go first.

In real life you don't always get to go first. So when I play online I never start.

If I set up a game on wda I always give the throw away same when practicing pro darter etc.
Break the throw 1leg you have a huge advantage playing someone of similar level

I thought I was going to beat the damn computer last night but he came through to put out my flame. I alwasy let the little box go first, or give him the darts as you say. I play the cricket because my counting skills are horrible for the '01 games.
