Aun 16.5g darts review. Bulls Fighter.

video link = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J07cjPgV4cI

Another set of Bulls Fighter soft tip darts. These guys do make some awesome looking darts at first rate quality, I am really impressed with these little beauties!

As I said before in the Dolfin review, Bulls Fighter is to my knowledge a relatively new company from Korea where they make the darts themselves. Here is a link to their site: https://www.bullsfighter.com/

The darts are made to a very high standard of machining and have an almost mirror like shine to the tungsten, I am not sure my pics really do them justice to be honest.

They retail in Korea for around 118,000 Wan which is around £67 I think. For this standard of quality and workmanship its probably a very fair price as I have seen many Asian brands sell far higher!

The darts are all packed in these very neat little boxes with the barrels, tweenie stems and standard flights all neatly placed in a foam insert which sits inside a slide out tray. They are already fitted with some soft tips and each box has a label with the model name and its dimensions stuck on the box.

As they are soft tips you can reverse the barrels as below if you desire:

The darts have a fairly aggressive looking rear grip, its nice and edgy but probably looks more grippy than it is but I would still say its a high level of grip. The front is mostly smooth except for a few notches around the barrel.

DIMENSIONS:

Length:

Exactly as stated on the side of the box:

WEIGHT:

WOW!! all 3 barrels are exactly the same weight! I think I have only had 3 sets that have been perfectly matched and this is the third Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Weight of the full set up as supplied:

BALANCE:

It was a little awkward getting the darts to balance as sometimes the balance was right in between a gap or on the edge of a ring so I did my best, here it is with nothing attached and as the barrels are drilled out from the rear a fair bit it is a front weighted dart:

With the supplied set up it moves near the centre:

Balance with my own medium, short and extra short stems and standard 100 micron flights:

Initially I gripped the darts near the front like below, but after a few throws I changed to a more central grip which was much better for throwing:

Typically after doing the video review I hit this 140, darts landed very slightly upwards but this wont matter if throwing at a soft tip board:

CONCLUSION:

Well I have had a mixed bag of expectations and results with these darts but they have been a positive experience on the whole Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Firstly because they are a short basically front weighted dart I thought they would be perfect for my front grip. I think in general they probably were but I was not so used to the light weight and found they were dropping a bit too early. Mainly I just felt I was not getting any power behind the darts with my front grip.

So I switched to a more central grip and it was a big difference, they flew so much better they were compelling me to play with them more, that feeling of trying to master a dart and been chuffed when you throw them well was very strong with these little beauties. When my throw was right they were flying like little bullets!

I still think they are designed mostly for a rear gripper but I was starting to get some success with them.

After I finished the video review I was going to pack them away but felt the compulsion to play with them was getting the better of me, so I have been throwing them quite a lot since finishing the video section and I have gotten better and better at throwing them. I don't know if Cyanides "light darts mantra" has brainwashed me or something but I seem to have improved my technique from playing with these and slightly changed it into a less of a pendulum type arc throw and more of a poke you in the eye thrusting throw, not sure if its really good or right but been working well with these! I still have the odd jerks in my shoulder which cant be helped but I am quite liking this new technique, my only problem is it adds a little extra strain to my wrist which may be its undoing, time will tell.

So I kind of thank these darts for that, I think it was as much the lightness of them that has made me do the above than the actual shape and size.

The darts themselves are beautifully made and I actually think they look better in person than they do in my pics above and for all 3 barrels to be so perfectly matched is a testament to the quality of them.

Very impressed with the Bulls Fighter darts and pleased to have tried them Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

They certainly are a beautifully crafted and machined dart and to have the weights so exact is testament to the makers of these. Look forward to seeing what else they bring out. If I owned a company and was sending my product to a popular reviewer I would make sure they get the best sample possible. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

So your saying that this is the only model they have that will be as good as this?

This is from their site:

Bull's Fighter are provide the Best Quality Tungsten material, which Darts fully made in Korea by using the most advance & accuracy CNC TurnMill technology

Sounds like they are trying to sell their darts based on the quality of the workmanship as much as anything, some of the other designs in their range look great too, so they have some creativity also.

No no, I'm saying I would double check to make sure I send you darts that weighed the same. I wouldn't care if I had to go through 20 sets to make 3 darts that were close.

But I do think all the Asian/ Korean dart companies use better machinery to make darts. Their attention to detail is second to none.

Possibly, but they were out with the Dolfin set then by 2 hundredths of a gram, and if they have done that then they are the first company to do so Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.
