No expert, but seems a sound approach.  Given one often shoots exactly that from 271 to leave 170.

Personally I wouldn't go 19s on 261.
20s every time.

The way I see it on 271 19s is the choice no matter what to leave 170 or better as you only need one treble.
Staying on 20s for 271 you need two trebles to leave a finish.

Where as 261 you only need a straight ton to leave a finish. Throwing at bull anytime of the game is risky but should be done only when Absolutely necessary

My view any way.

ok thanks! yeah i get it... 95 leaves bogey but ton leaves an out.. if you try the treble with the last dart when first 2 missed.

221 im always going 19's... 3darts in the sector no matter how, will leave good outshots. minimum 57 leaves 164.
