Dartsnutz Baseball MPR Challenge
Dartsnutz Baseball MPR Challenge

One of my favorite practice/warm up games. This challenge is simple but I'm going to add a little twist and make several different exclusive clubs available for you to join depending on how well you play. The private clubs available will depend on how many marks per round you hit while playing baseball using the numbers 1-9 (27 darts thrown). As always, the scoring is normal. A single is worth 1, double worth 2, treble worth 3. Add the numbers as you progress from 1-9.

There will be 8 levels available to join and they are as follows....

The 2 MPR Club - Requires a score between 18 and 26 to become a member

The 3 MPR Club - Requires a score between 27 and 31 to become a member

The 3.5 MPR Club - Requires a score between 32 and 35 to become a member

The 4 MPR Club - Requires a score between 36 and 40 to become a member

The 4.5 MPR Club - Requires a score between 41 and 44 to become a member

The 5 MPR Club - This exclusive club requires a score of at least 45 to become a member.

The 5.5 MPR Club - A score between 50 and 53 and video proof requires to join

The Ultimate 6 Club - This top level club requires a score of 54 or higher and video proof to join.

THIS IS A STEEL TIP ONLY CHALLENGE

I'll prob do one using the cricket numbers and the bull later on. This one is based off a very popular game here in some parts of eastern USA. Growing up that's all I played was American baseball. We had an American board in the basement set at 5'3 in height and the oche was 7'3. It was hugely popular in parts of Pennsylvania and American leagues can still be found there. Eventually I got a regular dart board and darts and started playing 501. Never did play any cricket. I guess I'm an oddball American Smile

Since there will be a lot of scores grouped together in the middle I edited the post and added a couple more categories. This way the jump to the next level won't require a 9 point improvement.

Game on!!!!!

A quick 21 to get in a club. Will have more time later for more serious attempts with video.

I have been playing the Baseball-Bull challenge since it was posted. I like Baseball because you can knock out a game in minutes, and there is always time for one more game. I hit a 30 the other day, but that was before this new challenge and can't remember exactly how many marks on the bull I would have to deduct. My MPR has been improving. I know this. I believe I can hit at least 27 to get into the next club. Great challenge. I hope this runs for a while.

Good job Dartbuggy. And yes, these will be permanent challenges. No end date. Smile
