A couple things I key on is having a flexible, loose arm and having a full follow-through toward the target. I want my arm straight by fully releasing the elbow and having a loose wrist. If I find my accuracy starting to suffer, I will hold by follow through a bit longer to make sure I'm pointing at the target and fully extending my arm. It's very easy to start shortening up on your throw. If your arm starts to hurt, that's probably what is happening.
