Fred Willard dead at age 86

Fred Willard, sidekick to Martin Mull on "Fernwood 2 Night" and Amy's dad on "Everybody Loves Raymond" playing opposite Georgia Engle has passed.

He was a fixture on variety shows in the late 60's and onward appearing on "The Dean Martin Show", "Carol Burnett Show", "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour", "Get Smart" etc.

His career spanned from 1967 to 2020 with no years where he wasn't involved in showbusiness in some way.

He made a lot of funny memories, I love his work on Modern Family and his back and forths with Martin Mull on Hollywood Squares.

He'll be missed for sure.
