2020 CDC Tour
Locations for the 2020 CDC Tour

Eligibility for the Continental Cup Tour Finals TBA by Jan 1

Canadian & USA PDC World Championship berths will be based on the results of the 6 events in that respective nation but players are eligible to play all 12 events - ie Canadians can only score points in the 6 Canadian events and Americans can only score points in the 6 American events, but they can play all 12 events should they wish.

Available PDC WorldCup spots filled based upon CDC OoM

Interesting move re the OOM points - wonder how many Canadians will play the US events and vice versa if they can't score points in them

I seen this a few weeks ago, it caused alot of arguements which lead them to take it down on there FB page, i didn't know about the only in your own country rule, i shock my head at the locations but this new rules has me thinking WTF are they doing, for a tour trying to grow the game i just dont get it

Not sure I've got that right on the points looking at it again - I think the Continental Cup and World Cup selections will be based on all 12 events, so they should get points for those, but I guess there will be a second table for the World Championship points based on the 6 national events.

You only get points in your nations events for the World Cup of Darts, PDC card holders get first choice it looks like, so Murchell is the only one at the moment

I just looked on the CDC facebook page and there is a video of Pete Citera and some other guy discussing the 2020 tour changes, so presumably they clarify how the points will work, but I'm damned if I'm going to sit through just over an hour of them chatting lol

I wouldn't watch those two either lol, i just think there shooting themselves in the foot, i know they want to expand but travel cost is gonna be a killer, i'm sure they'll be good turn outs at all Canadian events, but most of it's gonna be local, Toronto is close enough to drive but to try to attempt the others would be over Two Grand before throwing a dart , i think the cost for the US events would be even scarier, travel cost plus losing 30ish % on the dollar
