I kinda see your point but Beaton's longevity is admirable. Some would argue it's better to stick around for decades in and around the top 32 than to win a few majors (though he won a few early in his career) and disappear completely. And Steve is such a great guy too, I can't be mad at him.

I'm a huge Beaton fan and he's a great bloke, but I get where you're coming from. I find it so impressive that he still qualifies for so much and can't help but root for an underdog.

Totally agree, seems a great fella and obviously qualifies on merit so fair play to him, I'd just rather be watching somebody else

Quick bump for this as it all kicks off on Thursday evening. Not sure how much I'll watch of this as I'll be mainly watching the World Masters, but I should be able to watch Thursdays sessions at least

Not sure who is watching, but just bumping as this has already started and the first game is currently on it's ad break after the 5th leg

Just remembered it was on!

Chizzy looked good and was surprised Rapid Ricky managed to win.

Good darts so far though, and the PDC stream has been alright!!

As you are in the UK why not watch it on ITV4? That's the stream that PDC are jumping on.
