I heard the Dutch Referee say that the men must play at least 15 games - even if your team has whitewashed the other one 13-0, they have to play another 2 legs so that each player plays 3 games - and earns a cap for their respective country.

A Quite Interesting bit of trivia that probably won't happen...

That would make sense - as you say though it probably won't ever happen.  I've seen 9-0 in the ladies games, but I think 13-3 is the lowest mens score I've seen, even before last nights mens match.

After all the group games, the order of play for tomorrow's final session is as follows (UK times):

11.00am - Womens 5th/6th place match - Scotland vs Republic of Ireland
11.45am - Mens 5th/6th place match - Republic of Ireland vs Northern Ireland
1.15pm - Womens Semi Final (Group 1 winners vs Group 2 runners up) - England vs Wales
2.00pm - Womens Semi Final (Group 2 winners vs Group 1 runners up) - Netherlands vs Northern Ireland
2.45pm - Mens Semi Final (Group 1 winners vs Group 2 runners up) - England vs Wales
4.15pm - Mens Semi Final (Group 2 winners vs Group 1 runners up) - Netherlands vs Scotland
5.45pm - Womens Final
6.30pm - Mens Final
8.00pm - Presentations

Watching with the sound off so didn't hear a first name, but who was the player, Surname Ryan, with the really long darts?!

I was going to say Irish player, but I see it was Ireland vs. Northern Ireland, so that wouldn't have been very helpful Smile

Just rewound and he was playing Gilliland.

I would never have guessed that scoreline - Northern Ireland ladies beat the Netherlands 5-3 and now face England in the final a little later on.
