Quantum Paradox 17.5g
I'm back after a good break to get my mental faculties pieced back after a shaky time.

After a season of throw issues, and insecurities with the darts I've been using, I made the gamble to try something from Quantum's new soft tip line, so here's my mini-review of the Quantum Paradox 17.5 gm model.

I wanted to try a shorter barrel, but have the thickness of a heavier dart. I considered bombs but I felt it maybe too much of a change, so the Paradox seems like a good medium between a straight barrel and a bomb.

I tweaked the set up. The initial stock set up comes with medium stems and Quantum logo standard shaped flights. I felt better with short stems and kite flights on the steel tip board, but that set up caused a lot of bounce outs on a soft tip board, so I used an in-between length stem to give some balance, a straighter trajectory instead of the arched entry that bent and destroyed points in minutes.

Today was my first league match using them, and they gave me some great courage and I felt a sense of comfort as I threw them. I averaged well in my games, and we managed to scrape away with the win.

Major thanks to Quantum for their great customer service and support. I hope to see them grow further as a major dart manufacturer and fostering more talent through your great work. Thanks Abraham, for the quick review and observations.  Have the QD600 steelies myself, also an outstanding dart.  Nice to see some good feedback on the Quantum soft tip line.

Interesenting darts. How do they fly? Where do you grip them? Bye Smile

They fly great. I grip between front and middle sections, that's where I feel most comfortable and they get really nice flight that way. On the steel tip board they all land at a slight angle like a Gurney dart, just the way I like it.

I would say give is a medium to high medium level as Darren would say. It's subtle enough for me. Best say its medium level for me.
