Has anyone tried Red Dragon amberjack 18 24g?
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with red dragon amberjack darts, thinking about getting the 18 at 24g for my first pair of decent darts, as using darts that came with my blade 5.

I almost bought a set of them, but, no haven't tried them.
If you know what I'm doing, don't tell me ..... I find bliss in my confusion.

I’ve got the 22g version of Amberjacks. Strip the paint off and they are really grippy. They are now my match Darts and they’re great.

Well I ended up buying them and they turned up today, not had chance to throw them. But the is for that I will look at how to strip the paint on the forum and have a go at that. Look really nice darts though can see why people have 100s of sets

Acetone should take care of the paint, but watch out for those black points:

I'd buy three if I were you. You will find three will score more than a pair, probably by as much as a third.

Being new to the forum and having come across this thread I play with exactly them darts

I had purchased a set around a year ago now and just recent times in fact a few weeks ago

I had decided to send for another of same set just to put by incase i lost a set or a set was stolen

though thy aren't expensive in todays dart terms now £17.99 as i type , i just thought always handy to have another s

set of same darts put by in case of losing the set i play with or a set say stolen

ive also hit some rally good darts with them and not quite as consistant as once was
but i don't practice very much nowadays but when on fire they fly really well for me
and being a very slim dart and nice 4 grip theyre well worth the money
and ive played for many yrs on and off and just knew they were worth the money
and in fact i don't go by darts a pro player uses at all with their name on them

and in fact i had sent a used set of Gary Anderson darts to a guy in Dublin for free of charge
as felt sorry for the guy but in th end he just was a con man and so i had blocked him from facebook

but we live and learn from mistakes we make in life and move on ..But yes them darts Amberjack 18 at 24g
are a good dart and well worth money and ive hit many 180s with them so far from around 1 yr ago near anyhow now
and how many i couldn't say but u don't have to pay out £30 £40 £50 £60 £70 for a new set of good darts
paying out less than £20 is the bargain in todays darts if they fly well for you ..Experience in darts with yrs of playing
tells you this . Meanwhile wish you all the best in whatever you do buy in future be it darts at £20 or less or darts at £50
Best of luck on the oche .
