The FIRST 180 in TELEVISION HISTORY! - 1973 Indoor League
I thought the comments below that 180 by Sandra Gibb were just par for a bunch of idiots. That lady was cool and calm all the way.

I’m not convinced it was the first recorded 180. There were other regional tv darts back then and Westward tv had a tournament going before this, and I’m 50/50 that Paul Gosling scored one.
Indoor League was Yorkshire tv but went national. It started out on the Doubles board, then went Trebles.
Westward tv didn’t go national because it was just players from that part of England.
However, it would be great if Evans was the first.
