Old unicorns?
My son has recently started getting serious about darts. This how he opened against me the other night. Anyways I bought these darts back in the late 90s. I'm pretty sure they are unicorns. This is the only picture I have of them. If it doesn't show you enough detail I can take a better pic in a couple days when I get back home.

My son is turning into a darthead like his old man and wants to put a name with this set..

Thanks in advance

Nice throw and the darts look heavy. What's the weight on them?

I doubt if they're Unicorn. They not in the '93, '95 or 2000 Unicorn catalogs. Additionally, almost all Unicorn darts have a smooth section with the Unicorn name engraved.

RegisterWhen I pulled out my old board and darts from a decade plus of storage I had five loose barrels and two cheap, broken plastic cases. One was Unicorn and the other was Dart World?

Does that help at all? Does Dart World make there own brand?

My bet is Dart World branded darts.  Some of their newer knurled darts:

Not the same, but similarities.

Edit: This link talks about a relationship between Dart World and Harrows.  And they do have a Harrows look: Wink

RegisterAgreed nixer! I really appreciate the information! I'm glad I remembered about the Dart World case. I trashed that assuming in was some cheap stuff I found at a big box store. Cool history.

Thanks to all for the responses. Great community! Do I need to let a moderator know that this thread can be closed?

No, we're good.  Besides, one of our real experts may have something to add.

I think they are an older Piranha dart, by Harrows. I used to have a set of them in 24 and I wish I held on to them. Here is a pic of them for comparison:
