Best slow player (outside Taylor)
Smile
Hi guys

Slow is only effective for me if you are actually accurate.

No good taking 1 minute to throw 3 darts if you hit 26

Taylor is the GOAT an din a league of his own so. I've excluded him. So outside of Taylor who was/is the best slow. Player?

Dennis Priestley without a doubt.  Very deliberate, but laser focused, and one of the top ten players of all time, possibly even cracking the top five.

Taylor was a slow player too, but he's out of this poll because no one could ask seriously wheather there was someone better than him. From the players mentioned above I think Dennis Priestley was the best of the lot with no doubts. And I never saw more than a fraction of Terry Down on youtube, however I think I wouldn't be able to watch any minute more...

Priestley by a mile (and two world championships). Priestley was actually slow (i.e., deliberate) only with his first dart; the second and third were usually thrown at a normal pace.

Given he is the GOAT then it's Phil Taylor without a shadow of a doubt - why he isn't included in the list of names in the poll is beyond me!!

Hi MC

Undisputibly the Goat he's a league of his own which is why I excluded him.

Should have put 'outside of Taylor'

Thanks for editing the title - of the players mentioned in your list then it would definitely be The Menace Smile

Terry "The Baddest Man in Town" Down.

Only seen one clip of him, and he made Jocky lose without needing to be that accurate himself.
Are there any clips of him ever losing?

Priestley for me pure class. Cant say i've ever noticed Marshall James being that slow and i've played him a few times. Maybe he has gotten a bit faster in recent years.
