Bob anderson
Hi guys

More I watch this guy the more I love him. Met him. And he's amazing and what a player even into his late 60s

Dont think he gets enough love.

1x world Champ
Wc semi. Finalist aged 58 in 2005
3x consecutive masters (in its strongest era)
25 consecutive world championship appearances
Still appearing in wc aged 61
League of legends winner aged 61
Was averaging just shy of 100 in the 80s.on those boards.
Universally respected

If you look at the results though he won 1 less Wc than Jocky he won he won more majors and opens than either Jocky or Deller. Arguably he could be number 3 behind Bristow and Lowe in the 80s.

He also outlasted his contemporaries even though around the same age (Lowe) or older (Deller, whitcombe, Bristow, Jocky).

Was also the first of the big power scorer, finishers.

Remember an interview a few years ago where they said that even now if the likes of Taylor or MVG were asked to put £10,000 of their own money on the table for a set against Bob it wouldn't be a challenge readily accepted.

Even now aged 70, fully practised in a one off best of 5 sets I wouldn't rule him out against anyone.
