Shot Viking Hammer 23g darts review
Thank you for the great review Darren.
I think that from all the companies releases, I like Shot's last two or three the most

Thanks to Shot for providing these darts for review.  These are from the the new Shot Viking range and this is the Hammer model which is a front weighted dart.  Its another nicely themed range from Shot and all the models in the range have the new Siege interlocking grip.  These are the 23g version and they are also available in 24g, 25g and 26g in steel tip and 18g, 20g, and 22g in soft tip.  They are 90% tungsten and have the nice Hi Tech particle gold coating.  They retail for £69.95.

More info here: https://www.shotdarts.com/darts/viking-h...rrels.html

CONTENTS AND PACKAGING:

The darts come in the slimline Shot cardboard pack which is nicely illustrated with a viking theme.  On the front is the info of the contents and on the rear is a little bit of info on the darts and the range.  Inside is a dense foam insert holding the content.  The darts are supplied with the Eagle Claw Inbetween clear black stems and a set of very nicely themed viking flights in small standard or N0 6 shape and they are fitted with etched points:

Would love to get my skinners on some of these "Hammers" I've got the Harriers and the Warrior III's and they are fine darts.
Now...... back to binge watching the reviews.

Now they are there. I am really surprised how good they are, for me. Throwing feels very nice and smooth and the Darts are
very stable in the air. I am happy with these Darts. It seems to me that Shot is a little more expensive but the Quality is superb.
(I have also the Shot Tribal Weapon Darts).

Thanks again for the review.

Day one with shot Viking hammer 24 gram.

Very happy to have had a chance to ch3ck out this quality review before My purchase!

Got exactly what I wanted + more.

As Darren mentioned, the darts power right to the target!

Very well balanced dart and high quality. At 24gram they seem a bit light feeling. I could imagine a 25-26 being of interest.

However 24grams are whats on the menu for me and I’m very happy to report a MAX in the first trial period.

I did not use supplied set up.
I used my own tweenies. Punched Designa standards with target titanium slot locks. And supplied points.  The points are very grippy and are a bit long to what I’m used too , but I am coping, I won’t be switching them out.

ITs a tough price to pull the trigger on, so just have a few drinks before that’s all, LOL jk.
A photo of my max and hopefully I can keep this dart as a match set
