Darts - Beginners 3 things you must do to become a good Player
Lol that's crazy. I congratulate people on wda for hitting tons and ton+s, leaving nice outs and winning the leg. Why not? Smile

Why not? You end 01 on a double! This includes the 50 bull which is double the points of the 25 bull, making it double bull.
Its all a bull segment as the softipers have realised lol
What would you call it?
50 / 25
inner / outer
single / double
major / minor
big / little
Really doesn't matter who calls it what, as long as one gets the gist.

Back on topic:
I think for a beginner it pays to try every combo under the sun, get it over and done with early then stick to something you like. I kept getting told to stick with the same barrels when I first started, soooo glad I didnt.

Frustration is a killer, gota learn to laugh the bad away.
 MATCH DARTS: 26g Robbo's

His point is the 25 is NOT a bull. It is a 25. The red bit is the bull.

its part of the bull segment!
As you would notice on any of the challenges we have (100@bull), and games like shanghai, then there is soft tip's bull shooter etc etc.

Anyhow's I call it 25 and freckel lol

I shake hands, say good luck, then shake after the leg. On WDA I say good luck, but thinking I hope you hit 1 every dart :d.

Congratulate every good set of darts, switches, then whisper to myself jammy sod :d

Dirty G. No, just no.

The dead center is called a bullseye or a bull. Under no circumstance should you call it a double bullseye. That is all. Wink

Poor sportsmanship is really the worst. Ive seen and heard of sulking, punching things (never a dartboard....yet), slamming down darts, hurling remaining darts at the board or wall when busting... I try to go with the old adage "never let em see you sweat". If I see an opponent losing it like that, I know if we play again that night, Im already ahead of the game.
Current Match Setup:

DPC Gun Metal 25g w/ Voks Tornado points.

Year ago I was on a very good team and a former Top Shooter of ours loss it and punched the board and threw his darts across the room. He was a friend of mind but I never played for that team after that season. In fact he did it again in another match that sealed the deal for me. I really don't like to lose but to act that way is thumbs down for me.

I really don't see the point. Why not put that energy into focus and hit your shot. I hate to lose but I'm gracious in defeat. If I lose to someone who I should on paper beat then it's my fault and it makes me practice harder on where I went wrong

I'm a very competitive person, competition is one of my favorite things in life. I enjoy the aspect of bettering myself in everything i do, but not at the expense of having fun and mutual respect.
