Now that is a hell of a coincidence.

He was born on Galileo's birthday.

Rest in Peace Stephen Hawking.
I did not understand many of his thoughts.
But I know, he was an extremely brave man.

RIP Stephen Hawkings.
Tried to read a few of his books and documents which he published for us mere mortals but have most times concluded that this was written by one of those very rare geniuses you can count with the ten fingers of your two hands.

RIP Stephen Hawking

Didnt know he had passed until I saw this thread, I plan on reading some of his stuff but it is currently at the bottom of my reading list. Truly an amazing man, I hope we can make good use of his discoveries.

It's amazing that many of his most complex ideas and mathematical computations were formulated in his mind. No pencil or paper or even a computer. Just the power of thought. His mind was more like a computer in many respects yet he always showed that his heart was just as big. He was truly a great man and even though I, of course, never met him I will certainly miss him.

I pray that he is truly @ peace in the Eternity that he has chosen. did he accept or reject? if the former, then he has life and that to such and extent to be inconceivable to the rest of us mere mortals, as yet waiting to take our turn, passing from being mortal into immortality, into smoking or not smoking section, for ever more. it comes down to each individuals answer, the question we must, and will, all answer one day. Just a thought. Peace
