just what I was thinking given they will now have the larger PDC style doubles n trebles (I don't remember BDO participants in the Grand Slam suddenly bumping their averages though, but I digress)

Great looking board - never had a Dual Core but as someone who likes the Winmau boards I can see the Blade 4 Dual Core price dropping (hoping) - either that or a normal Blade board.
Blade 5 normal board review next?

Geert de Vos indeed had a great avg. 115.48 at the Grand Slam.
On a whole however will the averages go up with the new Blade 5 is the question? Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Great review and certainly looks like an improvement on the B4DC which is still a relly great board. I will definitely have to get one of these...maybe from the man in the red suit lol

If I wouldn't already have a Blade 4 as replacement for my current Blade 4 this would be now on top of my christmas list.
LOL it was quick as it only came yesterday morning but I know the Nutz want the info as quick as poss Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Cheers! Would be even nice if the legs were not there like on the HD2 Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

(11-04-2016, 12:22 AM)barcrusher Wrote: Great thorough review Darren. Very nice looking board. It does seem quite hard as mentioned hence probable why the heavier darts take a bit of pulling out. One thing I was wondering has the officialdom in darts have a specification for the size or surface are of the doubles and triples area as you mentioned they were a few millimeters in area bigger than the previous version. Cheers
Thanks mate! Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images. I don't know if they have a regulation for the area, I know its meant to be 10mm from apex to apex.

The colours are very bright and perfectly in the segments. The bull is really a bit off (I was surprised you first recognized it when you were measuring it Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.). Maybe a new design for the number ring would have made the board perfect. Digital numbers would made it look a lot more stylish.
Now that Winmau has changed the wire, I can got back to Winmau. I switch to One80 because the big wire of the Blade4 was causing too much bounce outs.
Thanks! I got it yesterday morning, it came just before I was leaving the house so if it did not come then it would likely have been took back to the depot and I would have probably not got it until Saturday. Its difficult for me to see things like the Bulls centrality as my astigmatism is quite bad. The new wire should be a lot better though Guests cannot see images in the messages.
